Hope On
January and I weren't friends. Walking through the days within that block of time felt yucky and hopeless. Hence the quiet here I suppose. But I was just reminded the other day how my focus determines my steps. Looking through the fog of circumstances muddies the way of walking through the circumstances in faith. Looking back through the month's pictures on my phone, I realized, as I always do, how the beautiful got squished among the ugly. Looking for the good always helps us see the good. Go figure, right?! At the end of all this month's coming and going, working and playing, struggling and quieting, stumbling and trusting...our moments are strung together on a line of hope, helping us to see all that's still beautiful amidst all that seems terrible.
Hope on, my friend. It's the only way.
