Corners of Home | Framing a Love Story

< allowing our home to reflect our story >

If a picture is worth a thousand words then maybe an arrangement of pictures can tell a story. Finding ways to use favorite pictures can speak to the values we are building within our family and establish in us a sense of belonging.

On a small square of our bedroom wall, I've framed a bit of our love story. It makes me so happy to climb into bed each night remembering our beginning. That happy print reminds me of my Grandma's one piece of advice on our wedding day, "Make sure you always kiss goodnight, especially when you're angry. It will help make everything better." (And that big shelf frame? the reminder of dear old dad's constant love and mad carpentry skillz!)

Do you have a few favorite memories that can help refresh a corner of your home? Grab some washi tape or dig out a frame from the closet or thrift store. Fancy or expensive isn't needed when it comes to surrounding yourself with remembrances of where you've been and how far you've come!
