Keep Believing

Here we are at the start of Christmas week. As I've done all year, I still find myself reflecting back to a year ago at this same time. Worlds apart, our lives then and our lives now. Praise be to God. All the hopelessness that covered us then has become a memory as we continue in the light of right now. His faithfulness to see us through the dark is just one more way God is establishing a deeper faith in us, assuring us He is Immanuel through all things. Just as He came to the manger to redeem us then, He continues to redeem us now in a thousand different ways. Bringing to life those broken places, broken relationships, broken lives. He is the hope of Christmas strung around the hearts of those who believe.

I'm kicking out this week to soak in my family! I hope no matter what place you find yourself this Christmas, in joy or sorrow, in hope or hopelessness, you find Immanuel. He's there, and He's at work to redeem. Keep believing!

Merry Christmas, friends.
